The Adventure Diver program is the perfect opportunity to gain additional experience and skills under the guidance of a PADI professional. This flexible program allows you to choose the dives that interest you most and get a taste of what you like, and feel more comfortable in the water.

What do I need to start?

PADI Open Water Diver or Junior Open Water Diver certification (or qualifying certification from another organization) Minimum age: 15 years old (10 for PADI Junior Adventure Diver) If you have not been diving for a while then we recommend that you take a quick scuba review in the pool to refresh your diving skills and knowledge. It is also a good idea to get hold of a copy of the PADI Adventures In Diving Manual and complete the appropriate knowledge reviews for the Adventure Dives that interest you.

What will I do?

This certification includes three of the following Adventure Dives:

Specialties Available to divers 10 years old and older:

• AWARE-Fish Identification Underwater Naturalist
• Boat Underwater Navigator
• Peak Performance Buoyancy
• Underwater Photography

Additional Specialties Available to divers 12 years old and older:

• Multilevel
• Deep Night
• Dive Propulsion Vehicle (DPV)
• Search and Recovery

How long will it take?

• One Day
• Three dives

• Adventures in Diving Manual
• Log Book

Where can I go from here?

After your PADI Adventure Diver certification you can take the next step by completing two more adventure dives. If you've completed five total adventure dives that include deep and navigation, you're a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver.

PADI Adventure Dives can also count towards PADI Specialty Diver certifications. If you liked your Night Adventure Dive so much that you wanted to take a complete PADI Night Diver Specialty course, your Night Adventure Dive can count as the first dive of that specialty.
